Communications Careers in the AI World

The Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Cultural Center at Austin Community College is hosting a Communications Careers in the AI World Panel Discussion to discuss the world of AI and its impact on current and future communications careers. The panel will be led by industry experts: 

• Xiao Meng, Data Scientist at General Motors
• Carolyn Perez, Director of Communications for the Texas Permanent School Fund Corporation
• Susan Meigs, Professor of Business, Government, & Technical Communication and Composition & Literary Studies, Austin Community College

When: Friday, November 17, 2023, 12-1PM

About the AAPI Cultural Center at ACC:

The Asian American and Pacific Islander Cultural Center was established in the summer of 2022 as a result of efforts by Austin Community College students, faculty and staff as well as local AAPI community advocates to rally for a space dedicated to supporting the needs of AAPI students and broadening awareness of the AAPI cultures and issues. The AAPI Cultural Center's vision is to support students in their academic journey at ACC and create opportunities for the community throughout the district to learn about and engage with the AAPI heritage and cultures.
